Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov proposed to prepare a draft of the "Program for the Development of International Cooperation of Turkmenistan in the Field of Tourism for 2024-2025" at a government meeting on Friday.
He noted that Turkmenistan, with its rich historical and cultural heritage and natural attractions, has great potential in this area.
The program will be aimed at enhancing cooperation with international tourism organizations, exchanging experiences with foreign partners, and holding joint events.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having approved the submitted proposal, addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with a number of relevant instructions, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
